National Geographic Found Hiding
"The Truth Behind The Ark"

After the airing of "The Truth Behind the Ark," Jerry Bowen of Anchorstone.com received a copy of the finished edition from the company that produced the National Geographic documentary. As I surmised in my previous expose of this "so-called" documentary, much was left on the cutting room floor. The difference between what he was sent and what was aired on television exposes the deception National Geographic is willing to carry out to further their evolutionary agenda.

Tests Show Drogue Stones Effectiveness on Noah's Ark"

Seaworthiness testing was done at the engineering center in England at the University of Strathclyde by Dr Sandy Day on a simulated Ark structure. The first couple of tests were influenced by non-Biblical assumptions and lacking in model design accuracy. The first test was on the ship design with weight in the hull to simulate the weight of the animals with a water tight hull and deck. The design of the model while similar in shape lacked the weight of the extra keels and slag ballast found to have existed on the Ark of the Durupinar design in question.  With that as the test parameters the waves produced in the simulation tank caused pitch and roll shown to be too dangerous. They then took the deck off the hull with the narrator stating, "to make allowance for a wooden boat built at the time of Noah would leak uncontrollably, the team removed the deck." Of course, even the small waves used were enough to sink the boat. All of this was shown in the final version aired on television. There was, however, one more test. It was conducted utilizing model drogue stones hanging from the bottom of the boat model. After simulating a much greater tidal wave in the testing tank, the model ship somehow survived. Not only were the researchers surprised, but the commentator of the program states that this is proof that the ship could have survived a violent storm. This test was not aired in the final version so it is obvious they edited out genuinely scientific evidence.

Now why would National Geographic want to hide scientific testing conclusion beneficial to the evidence found to support the Ark design?

The answer is simple, because they can and no one questions them. They are the epitome of science so called and determined to make a monkey out of you.

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: (1Timothy 6:20 KJV)

Original full review of the National Geographic Channel Special "The Truth Behind The Ark"

The following excerpt is from that previous ThroneofGod.com review. After laughing through another refresher viewing of the "documentary" I just couldn't sum it up again any better.

Giving thanks for the National Geographic presentation

Logical Conclusion
To be termed scientific, a method of inquiry must be based on gathering observable, empirical and measurable evidence subject to specific principles of reasoning. This special was not truthfully documentary or scientific by any stretch of the imagination and probably should have been named "Our Best Attempt to Dispel the Truth Behind The Ark" subtitled "Who are you going to believe; us or your own eyes?"

See some of the evidence shown below with your own eyes.

Discoveries of Ron's First Trip

One of many massive Drogue Stones and large unique object with appearance of bark. Markings point to them as religious artifacts.

The formation as Ron first saw it in 1977. | Grave marker showing 8 figures with a larger male and a larger female center with eyes closed.

Subsequent Evidence Discovered

Carving Ron found above the Ark. | Carving seen lower right.

Petrified deck timber found with radar. | Sectioned, it revealed lamination.

Best example of many metallic rivets found. | Petrified coral found at 6500 feet in elevation at the formation with a smooth flat backside that shows that it was attached to an object that was not natural.

Unbiased Archaeological Evidence

Standing on the bow of the Ark formation. | The bow of the Viking "ghost" ship of Ladby in Fyen, Denmark after excavation.

The collapsed deck mound of the Ark formation is as expected,
just as the Viking ship of Oseberg, Norway.

The Anglo-Saxon ship, Sutton-Hoo showing iron rivets
and planking impressions.
*

Iron Brackets with rivets and hot struck indented pins all over the formation.

The formation shows the discoloration of the exposed section material after a 1978 earthquake pulled the surrounding soil away from the northern side.

* "By observing the metal parts and making the most of the discolorations of the soil, it was possible to reconstruct the boat almost as well as if the wooden hull itself had been preserved."
